My Values

Treg and Jodi Taylor have five beautiful children.  Their oldest daughter, Quincy, attends the Highly Gifted program at West High School.  London and Romi are at Northern Lights ABC and the two youngest, Roxi and Gage, are teaching their parents.  Treg meet and married Jodi while attending Brigham Young University.  During school, they returned to Anchorage each summer to work.  After Treg graduated from Law School, they decided that the best place to raise their family was in Anchorage. After Law School Treg worked for an Anchorage law firm doing business ligation then switched to in-house work for McKinley Capital Management during the 2008 financial crisis.  He then moved to ASRC Energy Services in 2014 during the current energy market decline.  He understands the realities of operating a business and the hard decisions that must be made during leaner times .

Treg and Jodi also have personally invested in real estate under the same guiding principles: lean budgets while still providing a long term quality product. This required some ingenuity and hard work with a smile!  Treg will bring this same “can do” attitude to the Assembly, providing Anchorage residents with quality services for their hard earned tax dollars.  He understands that many Anchorage families, businesses and the city are operating on a shrinking budget.   The Taylor family believes strongly in helping their neighbors, from their children’s school program annual Thanksgiving Feast, helping those served by non-profits, or bringing a cultural celebration to over 2,000 ASD students at no cost last year.  Their family favorites are volunteering at the Fairview Rec Center with their cotton candy machine and the Anchorage foster kids parties.  Treg is currently serving as a Commissioner with Anchorage Municipal Light and Power and have done so since 2012.
